Exterior COOLWALL Process
Eliminate constant repainting, reduce your cooling costs, and make your home look beautiful with the heat-reflective COOLWALL exterior coating! The U.S. Department of Energy Oak Ridge National Laboratory found that the COOLWALL system can lower surface temperatures and reduce cooling costs by up to 21.9%! The savings range from 4.2%-21.9% depending on our home’s factors (geographic location, climate, color, etc.). To help show you how we apply the heat-reflective system, we’ve listed out the 10 steps in the exterior COOLWALL process.
Inspection: Inspection of your home’s exterior reveals suspect areas that must be addressed before coating.
Repair & Patch: Areas with cracking or decay are repaired before coating to create a sound, uniform surface for coating.
Primer Inspection: Complete inspection of the primer coat to assure proper thickness and uniform appearance.
Clean-Up: Your property is left tidy, clean, and beautiful – just like your home!
Trenching: Trenching around the perimeter of the home prevents ground moisture intrusion and decay.
Masking: Doors, shrubs, trim, windows, and other surfaces not to be coated are carefully covered to prevent overspray.
COOLWALL® Finish: Heat-reflective finish is applied in your color of choice to provide a beautiful protected surface.
Pressure Washing: Cleaning with high-pressure water removes dirt, stains, mildew, and loose paint.
COOLWALL® Primer: Smooth or textured primer is sprayed thick to create an armor-like surface that protects from damage.
TRIM-COTE®: Heat-reflective finish is applied to trim, windows, and other surfaces.
